I've got a new pattern ready to go to print. Easy Flip and Sew Placemats features placemats made using Soft and Stable.
However, I'm having a hard time deciding on a cover. I'd love your opinion!
Bright and bold in red and yellow?
or classic in blue and white?
Leave a comment by Saturday, February 16, with your thoughts. We'll pick one name from the comments here and on my facebook page.
The lucky winner will receive the hot-off-the-press pattern and a ByAnnie's Soft and Stable Project Pack with four die-cut placemat pieces.
Oh Annie ! ......... please go Bold and Bright it is much more uplifting and eye-catching. If there are other shoppers like me ........ bright and shinny always gets my attention first and is usually what I'll end up buying.
ReplyDeleteHave fun at Puyallup! Wish I was going but life sometimes just gets in the way of fun :)
Barbara
Please bold and bright far far much more intersting
ReplyDeletethan bland blue
Annie...I love the Bold and Bright in red and blue...It's warm, inviting, and just draws me in to make these placemats.
ReplyDeleteThe blue and white are classey but the bold and bright are just plain fun...go for the fun

Bold and bright please. These are uplifting colors to remind us spring is one the way!
ReplyDeleteBold and bright will catch the eye easily!!
ReplyDeleteI love them both - the blues are so perfect year round, certainly, but maybe it's because it's winter and I'm sick of the snow, the bright and bold are a delight! Which ever one you pick, keep the other in your hip pocket. When the day comes to "freshen up" the packaging, the other will make an old pattern look new!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like Bold & Bright is the winner, but I vote for BLUE!
ReplyDeleteBarbara
I love the blue but I am sure the red will be an eye catcher and draw more ppl. So I guess the Red. Good luck and Thanks
ReplyDeleteI prefer the Bold & Bright. A great way to start the day with a happy placemat, and red and yellow make you happy! No grumpy ones at breakfast with these, no matter even if I overcook the eggs!

Thank you to everyone for your comments and votes. Bright and Bold is the clear winner, though I was happy to hear that the calm, classic blue and white was appreciated as well.
DeleteKaren - Briarside Lane - is the winner of the Easy Flip and Sew Placemats pattern and a black Soft and Stable Project Pack. Karen, please send me your address and we'll get those off to you right away.
Again, thank you to everyone for your participation. You all brightened my days!
Annie
They've arrived... thank you so much!
DeleteLove the "blues" as it IS classic and perfect year round. But the "bold & bright" is perfect for spring and summer and would certainly brighten a winter's day. All too often, consumer's cannot see the possibilities of a pattern when fabrics scream at them.... unless, of course, one likes those fabrics. Great pattern!
ReplyDeleteThe blue and white is lovely, but I think consumers will notice the bold and bright more readily. The bold and bright kicks it up a notch. So! Go for the Bold and Bright. Wonderful designs!
ReplyDeleteBoy...this is a tough one...I love the look of blue & white, but I also love the bright and bold look. Hmmm....bright and bold wins! It's an eye-catcher! I personally tend to make things that have a more contemporary look, so bright and bold it is! Thanks you for allowing us to share with you in the decision-making process! Fun!

Bright and Bold is bodacious!
ReplyDeleteThe blue and white is pretty, but the red and yellow standout. The brighter colors catch the eye, makes you want to check out the details. Love the new pattern, thanks for all your hard work, keep it up!

The brights are bold, sassy, and eye-catching but I usually gravitate towards blues...I think I'd go for blue.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've used your Favorite Purses pattern and found it well-written and easy to follow. I love my new bag and am going to make another one.
Love the look of the blue and white. Both look great but the blue and white have a more calming effect.
ReplyDeleteAlso love the Soft and Stable. Made several eye glass cases and they turned out wonderful
Contrasts of color show up more vividly in red/yellow/orange and are such great WAKE UP colors. The blue really is more soothing and relaxing to look at, but takes a little more imagination to personalize it.
ReplyDeleteGo with the BOLD for maximum effect. But I'll make mine at home in blues and summer greens after making some in red and white for my Valentine.
Thanks for asking!
Yummy in either colour scheme, it is not hard to see why you might be finding it difficult to choose. However, I was immediately drawn to the warmer colors if that is of help to you:) grace(at)amnet(dot)net(dot)au
ReplyDeleteGo with the bright and bold, it will be more noticeable with all the patterns in a shop.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the classic blue & white. They are both pretty & the bold does catch the eye.
